These 90 minute public open sessions are great fun and anyone over the age of 12 can join. Axe throwing indoors is a great all year round activity especially on those cold and wet days. We actually use genuine Norse tomahawks and we throw at real wood rounds, we like to fully immerse you in the Norse experience, we even name our ranges after Norse gods (Fenrir, Odin and Tyr). We teach you how to stick axes and knives and if things go well compete against each other with a little friendly tournament, you just need to let us know whether it's axe or knife throwing you want at the time of booking. As these are public sessions it's highly likely you could be sharing the range with other members of the public, if it's a private session you are after then again please contact the centre for further information.
Our instructors have years of experience making sure your session is not only as much fun as possible but also safe. Axe Throwing is an ideal activity for the whole family and also a great team activity as it’s exciting and competitive - this makes it ideal for stag and hen parties. A session of axe throwing combines really well with half a day canoeing or knife throwing, archery or maybe a half day of bushcraft, but we could also combine it with other adventure activities such as climbing or abseiling. We can make a day to suit your needs and provide a day of adventure you will never forget.
